Can you guess out of this clan of cute kiddos who's Big Birthday we're celebrating?
It was the big kids birthday!!! Grandpa Turk turned 91 this week! We enjoyed spending Saturday evening with him and the family. The cousins all had a great time running in and out of the house after each other.
~Week 12, 52 week photo project, On a Shelf~
The picture above is what I used for my photo challenge this week. Not much on a shelf around here, so I put a bit of spring on one and added some texture!
I love, love, love Spring!!! I am so glad it is here! The kids and I have been spending much time outside soaking up all of the yummy sun!!! The girls have lots of flowers(weeds) to pick and I am the lucky candidate to receive them! Anyhow, I thought since the weather was nice today, I would try my first attempt at Kylie Joy's 2yr photos. She cooperated as I expected, all of you that have been around her know she is a ball of fire! I did manage to get a few that I really like and will try again on another beautiful day for a few more. I decided to share a few of the silly ones today and keep the favs for her birthday!
Ok, so this one is kinda a fav... however you can tell she is a bit put out with me... no smile!
This is more like the Kylie Joy we all know and love! Hopping around, tongue hanging out and making lots of noise. Wish I had at least half of her energy. If I try to get her to look at the camera by saying "Kylie where are your eyes?" Of course she realizes I want to see them so she puts those precious little hands over them so I for sure cannot see them. What a little stinker!!
Then Hannah comes out to see what we are doing and she wants her picture taken. Kylie Joy is not participating too much so I turn my camera on Hannah who is posing for me.lol Well this makes Kylie very upset and down into her blanket she threw herself with all of these tears of self pity. "How dare mom take pics of Hannah and not me," she is thinking.. "this is my photo shoot."
Tongue out again of course... at least we got a little bit of a smile. We even tried to get her baby dolls into some pictures... she took all of their clothes off and the ones that do not have removable clothes she just sat and stared at real serious like. I am not sure what she was thinking but you can tell by the look on her little face it was serious. Well, that is all for now... I will put the good ones up on her birthday!
I hope you all have a wonderful spring! I sure am going to! I plan on lots of walks and trips to the park. I'm thinking by the time the heat gets here this growing mama is not gonna be able to take it. So we are going to spend all the time we can enjoying the great out doors now while the air is still cool and the sun is shining! Happy Spring!!
