This momma had her baby just a few short hours after taking this photo! Congrats you guys! Can't wait to come capture those baby photos!
~so much love~
Congrats on your soon coming baby girl! Going by her due date, we'll be meeting her next week sometime! Saraya, you're going to be a great big sister!
This girl is so precious! I know, I know, I am a bit partial because she is mine, but really, she steals so many peoples hearts with her genuine sweetness. I love that she still plays with her little sisters and still has her sweet little girl innocence. She loves to please and make people happy. God has blessed me so much by lending her to me for these past 11 years! He placed a true jewel in my hands when He gave me her! xoxo
Yep, it's true... so hard to believe... she is 11!
Yes! I will travel for the opportunity to capture sweet and adorable photos for precious families! I was down in Texas for these photos!! So happy for them, they get their baby girl in just a few weeks!!
Our photo shoot was delayed due to rain that was not in the forecast. However, the rain was needed so we did not complain. We just hung out around their house and got a few photos while we waited for the shower to pass. So glad we did, we captured so really cute ones!
If you have little ones, you NEED to call TODAY
and set up an appointment to capture some fun memories!
"A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words"
This handsome guy is six months old now!
Time is sure flying by.
Look out you guys he'll be walking before you know it!
Can't wait to see how much you've changed at your 9 month shoot! For those of you expecting a baby, we like to capture those milestones for you! Birth, 2week, 3month, 6month, 9month and 1year! Give us a call to day to set up your appointment!
A small group of us from church went to Shiprock, New Mexico to have VBS with the kiddos out there on the res. It was a great time of teaching, learning, and exploring for us!
VBS was in the mornings. In the evenings we prepared for the next days lessons and such, then we had a good time together swimming and exploring the four corner area. I learned my boy is not a scaredy pants and that my girls are! lol
Our family at Arch Rock!
There was certainly a lot of cool stuff to see out in this area! We truly serve an amazing God, His creation is so vast. We have been in around 40 (I need to count it up again) states.
It is different, and yet beautiful everywhere you go.
A little scenery out my window as we traveled.
We needed to get out and stretch our legs, why not here in front of this cool sign!
Our destination and our purpose! Shiprock, NM ~ Navajo Baptist Temple ~ VBS
This was the last day, some of the kids had already gone home when we thought to take
this photo. We had between 35-55 kids each day. Such a good turn out
and such a blessing to be a part of.
My girls stuck together like glue, but they had a great time!
Asa on the other hand loves making new friends and fit right in quickly!
This was a bitter sweet trip for us. We took this photo at the four corners. Sister Henning, a dear friend, is on the right. She took care of the craft class at VBS. Only three short days of returning from our trip, she went home to heaven. We miss her so much! I think back and wish we had known those were going to be our last days with her. She was such rock to me. Like a grandma to my kids. It is just a reminder that life is but a vapor, we all have an appointed time to die. Only one life 'twill soon be past. Only what's done for Christ will last.
Major mom fail at camp this year, I didn't take but a handful of pics. We had a good time as you can tell by these two photos! Camp is always fun, photos or not!!
I did not get many photos of this event. She totally did not participate, oh well, she was sure cute anyhow! Kindergarten class of 2018!
I actually got in some photos this time!! My mom, dad and all but one sibling!

Is there anything cuter than a kindergarten graduate? I didn't think so!
No kindergartners were in danger or injured during this shoot....
I love the sun in these last photos!
I finished up this book a few weeks back. I love this one!! It is a must read if you have a mind like mine. My favorite sections were "Training Your Thoughts" and "Winning Over Worry". I think I am going to go back and read the 10 chapters in those two sections again soon, just for a quick reminder!
Training Your Thoughts
- Whatsoever things are true... think on these things. Philippians 4:8
She says in the book, "...choose to "think on these things" -these comforting, tender, and rock-solid, never-changing truths about God's care and concern for us- rather than focus on our own faulty thoughts or feelings."
God cares for us!
These four points she made in this chapter are really good.
*I am fearfully and wonderfully made, no matter what I or others think about me.
*He has a grand plan and purpose for my life, no matter how the present may look.
(2 Timothy 1:9)
*He has given me spiritual gifts that I can use to benefit other believers, no matter how I may be floundering or failing at the moment.
(1 Corinthians 12:7-11)
*I am always loved and accepted by God, no matter what I experience or who may reject me.
I think chapter 3 in the section Training Your Thoughts was just what I needed. Just as she admits that she second-guesses other peoples motives, I do this as well. She uses this as an example, "She hasn't called me in awhile, I must have done something to offend her."
She advises to simply ask yourself, "What is true?" This will help to stop the second-guessing, the analysis, and the introspection that hinder the development of healthy relationships. She says, "Until someone tells you that you have offended them, only think on what is true. Choose to think no evil about people," she says. "Determine to trust what others say and do. Count on others to come to you when you have failed them and count on God to reveal where you have offended them, " she continues.
It may sound silly, but this was something I was struggling with. I analyze everything, and just about everyone. Constantly wondering who I have offended or why this person did this or said that, what did I do. My mind was driving me crazy! I am so glad I did this Bible Study and realize I need to keep these words on my heart and in my mind.
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8
I do not want to make this post too long, but I do want to share a few more points from chapter 5.
She says, "Your God is the God of the past, the present, and the future! He has promised to guide you throughout your life and receive you to glory afterward. "Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory." Psalm 73:24 "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." Psalm 23:6
*Nothing will ever happen to you that God does not already know about.
*Nothing will ever happen to you that is a mistake.
*Nothing will ever happen that you cannot handle by God's power and grace.
(2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
*Nothing will ever happen to you that will not eventually be used by God for some good purpose in your life.
*Nothing will ever happen to you without God's presence.
God Knows All About Your Life!
In reading this book you'll learn to -
*grasp God's purpose for life... and move toward it.
*trust the Lord in all things...even those you don't understand.
*think on what is true or real...about God and about your life.
*live one day at a time...without worry or anxiety.
*navigate the maze of life...successfully.
Note: By recommending this book I am not suggesting you follow the author, nor am I saying I agree with everything she has ever said. I had never heard of her prior to the title of the book catching my eye on the book shelf. Like I always say when I recommend a book, I am a strong KJV girl. This book uses other translations. I encourage you to read this book, however, pull out your Bible and read the verses for yourself to see what it says! I would never recommend a book that changes doctrine of God's Word. If I read a book, for instance this one, that has a good message, and sticks with the teaching of the Word, I will share it with you! Happy Reading! xoxo
Kylie turned 8 last week. Between being super busy and the wind being crazy I was beginning to wonder if we would ever get a chance to get a few 8yr old pics. I might share a few more later when I get a chance to do a little more editing. Just thought I'd share these being we are so late getting them taken! ~Happy Birthday beautiful girl!
After almost 9 months of Kindergarten, we are wrapping things up and getting ready for our littlest Miss to have a small graduation ceremony/party. We got her little pink cap and gown in the mail and my mind started wondering to all sorts of photos she needs to have taken for this celebration! She recently added these flashcards to her pile of daily reading. With that said, look our first grade! I think she is more than ready for you!!
I decided we needed a cute desk for her photos. And, I just happened to have a few in the garage! After sanding this old ugly thing down, I sprayed a few coats of paint on it. Loving the color and thinking pretty strongly about painting the top with black chalkboard paint!
Sure hope you're having a lovely spring! See ya again soon!
