I have a really funny story today, no pictures to go along with it though... thought I would save myself the embarrassment. hehe
Some days it is quite a struggle to get Asa to do his school work. He just don't understand why he has to do it. A while back I sat down and explained to him that he was required to do it by the government. (haha.. blame it on the gov.) Anyhow, every now and then he has a bad day and I'll tell him he has to get it done because if the government comes to check his work it all has to be done. Well, today on his math sheet he had to draw eight dogs... he drew two really detailed dogs and started complaining that it was going to take too long to draw six more. I said just draw a small face, he did not understand what I meant so I drew one on his paper for him. I'll admit, it was pretty bad, but it did not take too long to draw it. So Asa drew five more dog faces, all of which were much better than mine, as Asa is very artistic. When he got finished he looked at the paper and said, "Mom, yours don't look like a dog at all." I told him he could erase it if he wanted to and draw his own. Then this deep giggling began, he ended up laughing so hard. I asked him what was so funny. He replied,"I want to keep it on there so the government can see how bad of a dog you drew!" lol
