Last week was rough, esp. for my sweet Kylie Joy! After running fever for three days, and on day three it got up to 104.6, we took her in to Urgent Care to find out she once again had strep. She also had pink eye.  This baby girl, who is usually full of energy, was literally in bed for four days straight.  I snuck this pic of her laying in bed playing with her hands.  I prayed with her with tear filled eyes, and she let me know that she was gonna get well soon because daddy had all kinds of people praying for her in the churches he had been preaching in that week.  And she was right, God did heal her sweet little body, and, she did indeed have lots of prayers going up for her!

I am so thankful we have an All Mighty God who has the time to answer our cries to Him !

Saturday evening we left the big ol' beautiful mission house, that had lots of big windows, and a huge library full of books on the family, church, and just about anything a christian might want to read. We had intended to leave on Sunday morning to head to our next destination, which was about 1 hr and 45 mins away.  With Kylie still weak, we left early(late sat. eve) so we could get into a motel, not expecting her to go to church on Sunday morning. She was feeling a lot better so we all went to church together on Sunday eve.

Everything seemed to be going uphill.  Our motel room was beautiful, we checked into a Budget motel, and well, you know, they usually are not that great.  However, they told Sam, as he checked in, that they were putting us in part of the motel that had just been updated.  No nasty carpet(it actually had a thick linoleum that looked just like wood), beautiful quilts, pretty decorations, just an all around nice place! It was gonna be a great week!

Monday came, Kylie Joy, Felicity and I decided to find the closest Walmart.  We picked up a few groceries for our little fridge and microwave, and some birthday supplies because we had a very special day coming soon!  After picking out the funnest looking princess party stuff, for our 4 year old birthday party on Wednesday, we headed home.  We arrived at the motel to find Asa and Hannah in the bed not feeling well.  It went downhill from there.  By Tuesday evening, Felicity and I were the only ones not sick.  Asa caught Kylie Joys strep, he started with a rash, then high fever and a soar throat. Today he is finally able to get up every now and then for a few mins.  This stuff wiped him out, just as it did Kylie Joy.  Hannah, Kylie and Sam, I'm afraid, had some food poisoning.  I had brought home some special chocolate milk for them.  Sam says he thought it tasted a bit strange, but didn't think much about it.  Anyhow, the three of them are the only ones that drank it and they were all sick with stomach issues I will spare you from hearing about. I guess it Was indeed, Special Chocolate Milk!

Sick or not, Kylie Joy turned 4 on Wednesday.  Of course, we had to celebrate, even though no one really felt like it.  With half the family laying in bed sick, our little princess decorated her cake(that did not get eaten), opened her presents, listened to a sickly 'Happy Birthday' song and just tried to enjoy her special day.

The girls have been wanting one of these Palace Pets for several months now! When she opened it up she said, "I knew you would get me one!"

We've been stuck here in the motel all week!  Thursday the weather got warm enough that we opened up the door, and the girls and I played outside, on the motel sidewalk/porch, while Asa lay in bed sick.  We had a few birthday balloons to play with and it was extremely windy. If you click on the 'Just for Fun' tab at the top of the page there is a new, fun video to watch.  You can have lots of fun with balloons, a nineteen month old, and lots of wind!

I enjoyed sitting outside watching her play with her little bunny. She talked to it, played pick-a-boo with it and even held it's hand and waved it at people with a friendly "hi" as they walked past. So, so sweet!

Don't get too excited! I did not let her go any higher. She would have if I'd allowed it, Felicity loves to climb.

There's my sweet girls smile!

If I only had my camera on video when I took this picture.  I had my back turned to the motel door and was trying to get her to look at me so I could snap a pic of her.  All of a sudden she started squealing and jumping around and dancing her feet like I had never seen.  I was not sure what was going on until I turned a bit and saw a balloon fly past a vehicle down the way.  She was so upset and excited all at the same time.   The funny thing is the balloon got out of our site and we thought it was gone, a few seconds later a gust of wind came and so did that pink balloon. It was rolling like a bowling ball all the way down the hill past us.  I wish you could have seen it, absolutely hilarious.  I had the girls get some more balloons to blow up and we did get some video, definitely not as fun as the first balloon, but all in all, pretty good memories captured! Don't forget to check the video out on the 'Just for Fun' tab at the top.
