For several months now, Asa has been anticipating a trip to the Lego Store. We are in Oklahoma City for a few days, and there just happens to be a Lego Store in the mall here. The kids and I met my brother Josh at the mall for lunch and for a Lego Store visit! It was so funny to watch Asa as we approached the store, he did not run right in, he stood and stared for a few seconds at the sign in front of the store. He was so excited! The look on his face, looking into the store, was great! Asa had a few dollars left over from his reward money. He won the bike contest for the Grandfield Western Day Parade back in October. With some help from his uncle Josh, Asa was able to get just what he wanted! More lego's to add to his already large collection! ... and a whole lot of smiles. Well, I don't know if you remember or not, but back at Christmas time I made a post of the kids and the gifts they were so excited about. Kylie is still playing with her Strawberry Shortcake and Orange Blossom figurines. They have managed to loose their clothes, but she still loves and plays with them so much. A few days ago Kylie came whining into the room, "Nannah(Hannah) has my chocolate cake, daddy, Nannah has my chocolate cake". We had no idea what she was talking about, in her hand she held her little Strawberry Shortcake doll. "We don't have any chocolate cake Kylie," I told her. She fussed on... "Want my chocolate cake". So I called Hannah into the room and she walks in with her head down and half pouting. In her hands was Orange Blossom. Kylie grabbed it and said, "that's my Chocolate Cake!" I am sorry, but I did have to laugh. I guess in her mind the pink one was Strawberry Cake so the brown on must be Chocolate Cake! I love these kiddos of mine... they are such a Joy!
