~My Present in the Dryer~

This is kinda silly but I thought I would share it anyhow!  The dryer and washer are not in the same room together.  The washer is in the kitchen and the dryer is in a closet in the school room.  I have a really bad habit of doing laundry and leaving the last load in the dryer. So, when I go to put clothes in the dryer a few days later, the dryer will be full of wrinkled clothes.  Well, here lately, I have been going out to the dryer to get the clothes out before I get the clothes out of the washer and much to my surprise the dryer is empty!  It really makes my day when this happens, I know it sounds silly but it just puts a smile on my face!  Last night I had washed the clothes and when I heard the noise of the washing machine quit (you can hear our washing machine a block and a half away) I went out to the dyer to get the clothes and it was empty!  Asa was sitting in the school room and he heard me say, "yay, I love it when there is a present for me in the dryer".  As I walked out of the room he ran to see what the present was!  "Mama", he yelled, "what was in the dryer?"  "Nothing", I replied.  "No really, mama, what was in there?" he demanded.  "Well, Asa, look in there, what do you see?" I asked him.  "Nothing is in there mom!" he said.  "I know Asa, that is the present, nothing is in the dryer!" I replied while laughing.  He just don't get it, he is probably still wondering what I found in the dryer!
