Well, after a long night of howling wind, we woke up this morning and peeked out the door to see Snow!!  Not lots and lots of snow, but, just enough for everything to look pretty! I knew they were predicting snow so I had a talk with Kylie before bedtime knowing she had never played in it.  I asked her if she knew what snow was.  She said, "It's rain!" I tickled her and said, "Snow is not rain, it comes down like rain but snow is snow." "Snow is rain!" she said and giggled.  Well she got to see it today and she tried to play in it for a short spell... ended up in tears. Kylie learned that not all snow is soft and fluffy... some is hard and very slippery!

Asa did not have mittens and he wanted snow boots and, well, things just weren't as fun as he thought it should have been!  Just way too cold and windy for him!

Where's your eyes Asa Ben? ... and your smile?

Hannah had just about the same amount of fun as Asa and Kylie!  Her clothes got wet and snow got inside her boots and well, like I said earlier... it just was not as much fun as it looks on cartoons and in our library books we've been reading!

Little Miss Felicity took a nap while we played outside in the snow! She is now four months old.  Drooling on everything, changing bibs constantly, chewing on anything she can get into her mouth.... before we know it there will be some little pearly whites in that sweet slobbery mouth!  xoxo
