Well, this month has flown by so quickly. We started implementing some new things into our family at the beginning of the year, and wow, I am so glad we did! First of all, we put away all of the VHS tapes, and DVD's. The kids would watch their movies at bedtime. We replaced the movies with music at first, then Sam downloaded a few new Patch the Pirate's to listen to, which they love! The past week and a half Sam has gone into their room and just read to them, not animated story books, but the Bible! Some nights they have a hard time falling asleep and he will read to them for an hour or so! It is so wonderful, and so good for them! The fact that they actually listen, and enjoy it, and ask questions while he is reading thrills my heart! We still have our daily family devotions each morning, which is what I used as my 'thankful' photo for my 52 week photo challenge. The B-I-B-L-E, yes, that's the book for me... and my family! I found this large, KJV family Bible at a local thrift store this week for fifty cents! I was so excited, while taking the pictures above, Felicity kept walking into the picture and closing it, that is how I captured this photo below!
I found some old, favorite photos of Hannah this week, thought I would share one with you! Seems like she was about four in this pic.
I got the opportunity to take pics of my sweet nephew again! His mommy was wanting to order some cards for Valentine's Day, so we got together last night and captured a few keepers! He's cute as a bug! xoxox
Well, that's all for now! I hear we have cold weather on it's way, so I guess I better go get bunkered in for the weekend! Ya'll stay warm, can't wait to see you again next week!
