Last time we were in Kansas I snatched up my sewing machine! It has been in storage for over a year now, and I have missed it! I have been itching to get this thing out and get some long skirts stitched up for my girls, as I am finding it harder and harder to find long pretty ones for little girls in the stores!  Hannah wore a new skirt, made esp. by mommy, two days this week!!! So, for my 52 week 'thankful' photo challenge, this week I am 'thankful' for 'my sewing machine'!

Hannah wearing one of her new long skirts! I know the photo does not show the whole length, you can get an idea! This was and old skirt of mine that I really did not like the length of it for me, so I cut it down and sewed it back together for her!

This here is the newest member of our family!  Miss Felicity and I met her this week at a local thrift store along with a little stroller and, well, for $3.00 for the set we just had to bring her home with us!  Just as I was afraid of, there was quiet a fight when we entered the church where we are staying right now! Three girls and one new doll, oh my! We have three dolls that look very similar to this one, the only difference is this one has soft hair!

Aw, this girl and her daddy!
I truly have never seen anything like this before, but she has this bond with her daddy that is amazing!
It was bedtime and daddy was studying and listening to a tutorial with his earbuds in and she, of course, had to listen too for awhile and then, all of a sudden, she was done and returned the earbud to daddy's ear! ~love

I ran across the hall to check on her, because she was so quiet and I knew the lights were off in their room, and this is what I found! The sun was shining in through the double doors in the hallway directly onto the bed, she was playing with her dolls and puppy! You know me, I ran back across the hallway to get the camera, one snap was all I got! I just love this picture because the whole room was dark except this one spot, there are no windows, and I did not use a flash! I have been studying how to use the camera with little light, so this was kind of fun! The pic above of Felicity and daddy was also taken with no flash, in a total dark room, with the exception of the glow from the computer! I love learning new things!!!

Lucy, meme's doggie, had puppies a few weeks back! They only have two weeks left with their mommy and then they will go to their new homes!  My kids, esp. Hannah, are in love with these cute little pups!  They went with meme today(to be big helpers) to the vet so the puppies could all get their shots!  I know for sure my Hannah will be so sad to see them go, she wants one so, so bad!

Hope you are all having a happy day!
