We left all of our kid books, outside of Asa's school books, in Grandfield. It's been awhile, and we have been missing our reading time. Thursday the kids and I decided we were going to make a trip to the good ol' Goodwill to get us some new books! We had a blast looking through tons of books, at 30 cents a book we were able to get quite a few. When we got home the girls and I sat on the couch and read eleven of them in a row. They wanted me to read more but mommy had things that had to be done! We love to read!!! ~Week 8, 52 week photo project, Laughter~ This weeks photo challenge was "laughter". We received, in the mail, from some friends, a package of meat. In the container was dry ice. I put a small amount in a bowl and put some water in it for the kids to see. There was a lot of laughter from Hannah. Asa liked it too, and Kylie Joy was not so sure of it. Well, Sam crushed some of the dry ice up and put it in an empty 2 liter bottle, added some water, tightened the lid and set it out in the yard. A few mins. later the bottle popped real loud and the bottle shot up into the air up over the power lines. More laughter! The most laughter was about 5 mins. later when I looked out the front door and the sheriff was out there. The black and white pic of Hannah holding the mug of dry ice is the pic I submitted this week for laughter! Kylie Joy did not want to get too close to it... she watched it from afar! The face only a mommy would love, she had just had a snack... peaches and chocolate pudding! As for Asa, well he just thinks he is tough! haha more muscles... Yep, that's my boy!
