You know, I really don't know if there is a greater love, outside of God's love for us, than that of which a mother has for her children.  There is just that special bond between a mother and her child, I think it is even more special if the mother is a christian mother.  Maybe because that burden for their soul being present also.  Anyhow, we did not have an appointment tonight, so we attended here at the church where we are staying in a mission apartment.  It is always difficult to get an appointment around a holiday.  The pastor had told us that they were having a testimony service, to give everyone a chance to testify of God's blessings upon them.  I remember having this type of service a few times growing up, maybe even at Thanksgiving.  Many people stood and gave thanks to God before the congregation, songs were sung, men prayed, and then they passed the microphones around one last time for more testimonies.  Much to my surprise Asa stood and raised his hand.  They brought him the mic and he began talking, "I thank the Lord for my mom and dad and for dying on the cross for us" (I have tears in my eyes typing this right now)"and for my sisters Hannah and Kylie" then he almost gave the mic back to the man, I could see his little mind working,"and I thank Him for my grandparents." he added.   I was so proud of him, it took great courage for him to do this, we do not know any of the people here and I had not the courage to  stand before this large crowd, but my little Asa man did.  I hope and pray God keep His hand on Asa, and someday use him in a mighty way. As Asa sat back down in his seat  tears began to pour out of his precious blue eyes!  Man, I love him so, so much!  I recently read this little poem, it said,
" Your First Breath, Took Mine Away"!  I thank God for My Kids... being a Mommy is a Wonderful Blessing from Heaven above!
