~Christmas Eve with the kiddos~

This is three kids about to open their Christmas presents!  They have been counting down the days for quiet some time now!  I am not sure Kylie even knew anything was going on.  I had shown her  a few days ago her wrapped present.  She just looked at it and smiled, I don't think she realized anything was in the package.

She was very excited when she tore apart the paper and there was, not just one baby doll, but, two baby dolls inside.  Kylie loves baby dolls and hers has been misplaced for about two weeks now.  Who knows where we left her, she goes grocery shopping with us and out to eat with us, she was just part of the family.

This is the newest addition to our family.  I think Asa and Hannah helped Kylie name them Abigail and Chloe.  So far they have not caused me any trouble, but, they have stressed Kylie out a little.  She is so funny and such a girl!  As I was cooking dinner I could here Kylie coming, breathing real hard, almost crying, "shirt wet, shirt wet", she said as she got to the kitchen.  She had taken the dolls shirt off and gotten a few tiny spots of water on it.

These are two new friends of Kylie Joys!  I was hoping these little figurines would keep Kylie from taking Hannah's new little figurines. So far it has worked, she has been carrying them around in her sweet little hands all day!

Hannah has had her eye on a Hello Kitty Lego set for a few weeks now.  After seeing it in Target one day she whined for a week over it.  I finally had to tell her if she did not quit begging for it she would never get it.  Well, the big set was sold out so we had to settle for the smaller one, which was better because of the lack of room while traveling!

Hannah has spent the day building her Hello Kitty house and play yard.  I never dreamed I would have two kids with their nose stuck in a lego bucket all day!

On Hannah's 3rd birthday she asked for My Little Pony things. She got a ton of stuff, it is in storage right now and she is missing it greatly.  We had picked up a few Pony things at a thrift shop a few weeks back, all three of the kids fought over it, therefor, she got another Little Pony to go along with it!

Picture
Legos, legos, legos, he sleeps, eats, walks and talks legos!  I don't think Asa would care if there were never another toy.  He is very creative and very good at building the neatest things with them. So, when it came to getting Asa a gift, it was as easy as 123!  He has so many legos, I thought it silly to buy more, then I found the coolest thing for my lego man!

Picture
It's like Pictionary, instead of drawing, you build, whatever is on the card, with legos!  This is going to be so fun for us all to play, I know I will stink at it though.  I am not a very creative mom when it comes to these legos.  Asa is very excited about it, he said he had seen this game a long time ago and wanted to play it.  Asa had also asked for this little Toy Story lego set, which made me really excited because I had already gotten it for him!

I guess you could say the kids had a wonderful Christmas Eve.  Before we opened the gifts this morning we had a short devotion to remind them that Jesus is the reason for the Season.  Although He was not really born this time of the year it is a time when we can celebrate His birth, which led to a more important event that we should celebrate with even more Joy, and that is His resurrection!  I thank God for His wonderful gift of Salvation!

Hugs and kisses to you to meme! It does seem like all three of my little turkeys are growing right now... they have all grown at least 1 or 2 inches since we were in Grandfield.
