We had ourselves a Merry Little Christmas this year! No traveling, no hustle and bustle, just a simple Christmas with our precious babies! We made little graham cracker houses, they turned out so cute and the kids had so much fun... I think we will make this a family tradition! Jesus is the Reason for the Season! I have always tried to keep it on my kids minds this time of year what the greatest gift ever given is. They are still small but I do take advantage of little opportunities to tell them of our Glorious, Lord and Saviour! Kylie Joy is still very confused with who Jesus is, Hannah is starting to understand a little and her prayers are ever so precious. Asa is at an age I don't fully know how to describe! He believes in Jesus and he loves Jesus and he prays for Jesus to save him. He wants to be saved so bad, it really disturbs him when he hears me speak of Jesus coming again or it being so close to the end of time. I don't want to tell him he is saved, I want him to tell me that he is saved. When we have our talks I always send him a little distance away from me to pray and I stay where I am to pray. I want him to realize it is between him and God, that he cannot rely on me for his salvation. This is the hardest part of being a mommy, I just want him to have peace with it. I ask him when he is done if he is saved and he has never said yes... I pray someday soon he will feel the drawing of God and his answer will be Yes Lord, Yes! Enough rambling, back to our little Christmas! Christmas morning we gathered together for our devotion, even little Felicity got into the Word with us! hehe After some song and devotion... the moment they had all been waiting for... the Gifts!!! Thank you God for Your unspeakable gift! I love you Jesus! ...And I love my precious babies! A Dora Ballerina music box for Kylie Joy and a Bible for Hannah Banana! Lil' Felicity enjoyed watching all the excitement! And, of course, Lego's for Asa Ben! That's our Merry Little Christmas.. with lots and lots of Love! ... and a little bit of snow!
