Monday evening we took the kids to a park nearby to get rid of some energy!  As I watched the kids playing on the swings and slides Sam went for a walk on the trail.  I think my kids would live at the park if they could.  What kid wouldn't?  You know me, I had to bring my camera along... never know when a picture moment might occur.

We had lots of fun playing and before we knew it Sam was back from his walk.  He was carrying a small black plastic sack.  "What's that?"we asked him.  "A snake!"he replied excitedly.  Of course, Asa just had to see it and play with it with a stick.  Hannah and Kylie Joy were not so sure of it.  Kylie climbed up on the picnic table to watch it from a safe distance.  The pic of her below I took of her while she was watching the boys(father and son) play with the creepy thing.  Hannah's expression was pretty serious too.

Such a boy... Asa had a bit different expression than that of his sisters.  What is it that makes boys so interested in something so creepy?  Snakes or no snakes... I'm so glad it's spring!
